Dr. Rosenstock has been the Chief Medical Officer of AbsoluteCARE since its inception in 2000. He is board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases and has been providing care to patients infected with HIV since 1981.
Dr. Rosenstock has a unique background having trained in the US Navy, serving 8 years including tours of duty in the Republic of Panama teaching clinical tropical medicine and another tour as an assistant professor of tropical infectious diseases at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, Maryland.
After leaving the Navy he entered private practice in Atlanta, Georgia for 16 years where he established Peachtree Travel Clinic, one of the largest travel clinics in the Southeast. He also served as the Medical Advisor to CARE, the international relief organization.
From the moment Dr. Rosenstock established AbsoluteCARE he has devoted his time and energy to serving this population of patients. He has been instrumental in helping to develop the innovative AbsoluteCARE model of care, and is looking forward to expanding this model to help more patients.
Alan Cohn entered the healthcare industry over three decades ago, and is currently the Chief Executive Office of AbsoluteCARE, Inc., a medical center staff model population health management organization that cares for the complex chronically ill population.
Alan Cohn began his health care career in Law School, working during the day in the Office of the Attorney Advisor for the Health Care Finance Administration (HCFA) and then in the corporate sector of healthcare after receiving his JD from the University of Baltimore. He joined his family’s business, later to become Spectera Inc., following his graduation from law school.
After selling the family business, Alan built a large Mail Service Pharmacy business which he sold in 1992 during his restructuring and acquisition of Avesis. In 1992, he joined Avesis and prior to the sale in 2016, led the management of dental, vision, and hearing plans that insured millions of individuals throughout the U.S.
Dr. Gregory P. Foti’s background includes experience in multiple arenas including serving as Medical Director for a Medicare Advantage managed care organization, as Physician Advisor of Utilization Management for a hospital system, as a Hospitalist including treating ICU and CCU patients and an outpatient physician.
He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and holds a B.A. in Economics which helps facilitate many of AbsoluteCARE’s population health management initiatives. Dr. Foti is involved with the day to day AbsoluteCARE operations as well as business development and the strategic vision.
Greg has always been keenly interested in innovative medical models that improve quality, coordination and access while decrease unnecessary utilization and the undue waste in the current system. Dr. Foti is very excited to share his passion for making a difference in patient’s lives and being able to serve AbsoluteCARE’s patients.
Greg was born and raised in Baltimore. He enjoys local sports from high school to professional and also loves running on the local trails. One of his favorite things to do is spending time with his family.
Dr. Bergman is formerly a Medical Director for Amerigroup Maryland. He studied medicine at the Johns Hopkins University school of Medicine, trained in Internal Medicine at Emory and Hopkins and has an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. He practiced internal medicine for 10 years at a large physician group where he became the managing physician, before joining two startup companies involved in the development of electronic medical record technology. He was with Amerigroup for 15 years where his special interests were in complex case management of the chronically ill members, innovative network strategies, and health plan operations process improvement.
In 2010 and 2011, Dr. Bergman served as a national medical director for Amerigroup. He also worked in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Johns Hopkins as a part time faculty Member for 15 years from 2001 to 2016. He is currently the Medical Director of the Medical Practice of AbsoluteCARE in Baltimore.
Sharon originally started as a consultant for AbsoluteCARE in May, 2000 and eventually joined the practice full-time in January, 2003 as Chief Operations Officer. Prior to joining AbsoluteCARE she ran a large multi-facility oncology group, a private infectious disease practice, travel clinic, and co-owned a home infusion company.
Sharon enjoys the challenges of healthcare administration, the diversity of our staff and patients, and most importantly the ability to help people. She is passionate about optimizing the potential of AbsoluteCARE as a patient-centered medical home and development of unique programs that give our patients the very best in medical care. She is an advocate for preventative care and quality standards in medical care and at AbsoluteCARE.
Sharon also enjoys volunteering with Open Hand, gardening, relaxing on the beach, and an occasional round of golf. She has one daughter and two grandchildren who are her true passion!
Tom Trently is the Chief Financial Officer of AbsoluteCARE. He joined the company in June 2016, and oversees the accounting, business support, financial planning and analysis, treasury, investor relations and tax functions.
Tom has over 30 years of experience providing leadership, vision, and strategic direction for corporate financial operations across several different industries including healthcare, retail, and wireless communications. He possesses exceptional skills in conceptualizing, developing and implementing processes and controls, improving business operations, supporting business growth, and maximizing profits.
Tom received a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from Loyola University in 1985 and earned a CPA designation in 1988.
